Poster
You are invited to help us spread the word about the upcoming Herstory Celebration! Download the poster as a pdf, print it, and put up in your neighborhood, workplace, etc!
Download the poster as a pdf (586 k).
Right click on the link "poster as a pdf", and choose "save as," or "save target as," save it to somewhere on your computer where you can find it again, double click the saved file and it will open in Adobe Acrobat.
(Since the poster is a fairly large file to download, my best advice is to download it to your desktop or My Documents, then open it in Acrobat from there. Opening large pdfs in a Web browser often doesn't work very well.)
The poster, created by Dianne Bouvier, features the faces of:
- This year's Outstanding Women of Southeastern Ohio (Heather Cantino, Brandi Holloway & Jennifer Hughes, Patti Richard)
- A sampling of past awardees (Nancy Bain, Eddith Dashiell, Margaret Deppen, Dorothy Gettle, Carol Kuhre)
- Women to be portrayed at the event (Fannie Lou Hamer, Janet Rosenberg Jagan)
And of course we hope to see you there on March 5, at Ohio University's Margaret M. Walter Hall Rotunda, Athens, Ohio, from 2:00 to 4:30pm!!!
