A special celebration to honor Women's Herstory Month was held Sunday, March 5, 2006, at Ohio University's Margaret M. Walter Hall Rotunda, Athens, Ohio, from 2:00 to 4:30pm.

The March 5 celebration featured awards for Outstanding Women of Southeastern Ohio, poetry, drama, art, music, and light refreshments.
Children were welcome or a child care subsidy was available on request. Parking will be available in university lots close to Walter Hall. (Parking is "legal" in most university lots on weekends.)
Admission is free. Donations of canned goods to support area food banks and money for next year's event will be accepted.
