Children will: interact with OU female athletes, hear a short motivational talk, try different sports, enjoy snack time, and view short films on the history of women in sport. 100 tickets to the Women's Softball game on May 5 will be given away to participants.
Adults will: hear presentations on: the current national status of Title IX, local recreational activities such as biking and outdoor adventure, women athletes/coaches tell their stories, history of women in sport, and view a short film, 100 Years, 1899-1999.
Also: Light refreshments; information tables; networking; and, @ 4:00-8:15pm -- the Women in Sport Documentary Film Fest
